The standard postcard images of Washington have been the backdrop of my work life. Long exposure to this iconography prompts my photographic goals: to seek different perspectives on these familiar images, to portray sights that most visitors don’t find, and to present views of new sights.

I bring the same point of view while roaming the surrounding region, which provides a rich canvas of history and nature beyond the city, and while traveling farther afield beyond the Mid-Atlantic region.
